Jetour Auto PH unboxes limited-run Dashing Symphony

MANILA: Jetour Auto Philippines Incorporated (JAPI) has recently launched a limited-edition version of the Dashing sport utility vehicle.

Dubbed the Jetour Dashing Symphony, the modern five-seater crossover received major tweaks for an “immersive luxury driving experience.”

The Chinese automaker’s distributor in the country slapped the Jetour Dashing Symphony is the enriched audio system with its 10-inch, 300watts RMS, 4-Ohm JL Audio subwoofer and a 400watts RMS, 4-channel JL Audio power amplifier fitted at the rear passenger area. The set-up matches the JL Audio component speakers on all four side doors that include two woofers and two tweeters.

In addition, a trunk speaker with an amplifier has also been installed.

Powering the crossover’s Symphony variant is still a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine that can provide a peak of 154 horsepower and 230 Newton-meters of torque.

The Jetour Dashing Symphony also boasts high-end technology in the form of intelligent lighting interactive system, multi-function external side-view mirror, panoramic sunroof, hidden sensing door handles, and the Smart Rubik's Cube key with keyless entry and start system and remote start engine. Its Infotainment system features a 12.8-inch touchscreen, and Bluetooth connectivity. 

It is also outfitted with technologies like intelligent security system featuring lateral and backward collision warnings and 360-degree panoramic visual parking assist, and an integrated body electronic stability system.

Sporting an Aurora Green body paint, the Jetour Dashing Symphony is priced at P1.523 million — P150,000 more expensive than the standard model which only wears a P1.373-million price tag.

Relatedly, JAPI reiterated that that it will soon offer the Dashing’s plug-in hybrid version.
