LX700h now displayed at Lexus Manila Gallery

MANILA: The LX700h—which entered the Philippine market last year—can now be viewed at the Lexus Manila Gallery.  

Technically replacing the purely gasoline-fed LX600, the LX nameplate’s latest offering introduces hybrid power to the premium marque’s full-sized sport utility vehicle line.

In a statement, Lexus Manila shared the that the Lexus LX700h “enhances its signature blend of luxury, comfort, and capability with a more practical, forward-looking edge.”

“In today’s market, where buyers are paying closer attention to efficiency and smarter ownership choices, the LX 700h offers a compelling balance: the presence and versatility of a traditional full-size SUV, now paired with electrified performance,” the local arm of Toyota’s premium sub-brand noted.

Here are some facts about the Lexus LX700h.

At the heart of the Lexus LX 700h is a 3.5-liter twin turbo V6 engine paired with an electric motor that can deliver raw force while adding a layer of efficiency to the LX badge. This mill setup has the capacity to dish out:

Maximum output (in horsepower)	457
Peak torque (in Newton-meters)	650

The same Direct Shift 10-speed automatic transmission sends power to the wheels—allowing the vehicle to accelerate 0-100 kilometers per hour in seven seconds.

 The brand’s flagship luxury SUV also kept the following portions for the new offering. As such, the vehicle retained key mechanical components including:

• Double wishbone front suspension
• Trailing-link rigid rear axle, and
• Off-road systems (Multi-Terrain Select, Multi-Terrain Monitor, Crawl Control, and Downhill Assist Control)

For its interior, the Lexus LX 700h can be had in either seven-, five-, or four-seater configurations depending on the chosen variation. These can be had with the following creature comforts such as:

• Ottoman seats
• Lexus Climate Concierge
• Four-zone climate control
• Mark Levinson 25-speaker audio system
• Rear entertainment displays
