Mazda Philippines to offer a solitary variant of the CX-3 at Php 1.3 m

MANILA: Are you looking forward to buying the Mazda CX-3? We guess you probably a little too late as Mazda has cut down the number of variants for the 2020 year model to just one. Yes, while other automobile manufacturers are piling model after model, Mazda has decided to reduce the number of variants of the CX-3. Also, Steven Tan, who is the President of Bermaz Auto Philippines, has confirmed the axing.

So, instead of the previously available Pro 2WD, Sport 2WD, and Activ AWD trims, only the Pro 2WD variant of the 2020 Mazda CX-3 will be offered in the Philippines. Moreover, Pro 2WD is the base variant of the CX-3 and misses out on a lot of comfort and convenience features, which might just hit the sales figures as many competitors are waiting in line to eat up the sales of the Mazda CX-3.

If you came across the 2018 Mazda CX-3 global market, the 2020 Mazda CX-3 would be no stranger for you. The exterior of the Philippine-spec gets a new grille with horizontal slats and a pair of updated taillights which feature cylindrical detailing. While there are LED fog lamps, the 2020 Mazda CX-3 does with conventional halogen headlamps and a set of16-inch alloy wheels.

One of the major updates on the inside of the Philippine-spec 2020 Mazda CX-3 is an electric parking brake that comes with auto brake hold. Other notable additions inside include a front armrest and a rear centre armrest with cup holders. A 7-inch MZD Connect infotainment system, leather-wrapped steering wheel, fabric seats, and manual climate control make up the interior of the 2020 Mazda CX-3.
