Mercedes-Benz PH to unveil 2 new dealerships

MANILA: Mercedes-Benz Philippines, under Inchcape Philippines, is set to unveil two new dealerships in key upscale areas in the Philippines.

Mercedes-Benz Philippines Business Unit Head Redentor Cajayon Jr. shared during a recent engagement that the Three-Pointed Star marque will update its Alabang showroom and open a new Cebu facility (which will be under a new dealer partner). These two establishments will adopt the Mercedes Architectural Rendition (MAR 20X) design language. 

Sporting a homey and open layout, the newest brand identity is set to reflect a “modern and digitalized brand identity” aimed at elevating the Mercedes-Benz consumer experience. 

In line with the updating of the brand’s dealerships, Cajayon mentioned that Mercedes-Benz Greenhills, the brand’s flagship dealership, will have its relaunch next year and will also feature the MAR 20X design.

Relatedly, Mercedes-Benz Philippines also tapped Chef José Luis González as its ambassador. 

Known for his innovative way of merging local ingredients and contemporary techniques to create a curated menu, his restaurants recently earned Michelin stars:

Both initiatives continue to pay tribute to Mercedes-Benz’s legacy of the brand, which Filipinos have lovingly called. “Chedeng.”

Meanwhile, the restaurateur revealed in his “Welcome Home” address that the Mercedes-Benz model of his choice was the GLE PHEV due to the nameplate’s following strengths:

• Sustainability
• Burmester Surround Sound System

Launched last year, the premium electrified sport utility vehicle is powered by a 2.0-liter gasoline engine with an electric motor and a 115-kilowatt-hour battery. Power is sent to the wheels via a nine-speed automatic transmission
