Midsize SUV debuts brand's new take on its iconic fascia
MANILA: Mercedes-Benz has revealed the all-new GLC midsize sport utility vehicle (SUV), which can generate up to 482 horsepower with an estimated range of up to 713 kilometers.

The all-new Mercedes-Benz GLC has an estiamted range of up to 713 kilometers.According to the German carmaker, the upcoming model will have an innovative battery system based on a highly integrated modular architecture, which includes a lithium-ion battery with usable energy content of 94 kilowatt-hours.
Bold new look
Outside its promised performance, the all-new Mercedes-Benz GLC boasts a striking new fascia. While the design of the midsize SUV’s fore has drawn mixed reactions, it offers a modern interpretation of the marque’s iconic grille.
The digital meshwork boasts high-tech pixel graphics wth 942 illuminated points. Would-be owners can also have the grille display animation as an optional add-on.
Flanking the new fascia is a set of headlamps with the brand’s logo.
With a front-heavy design, the side profile of the all-new Mercedes-Benz GLC looks clean with linear bodylines. There are some chrome trims on the window and the step boards, but the highlight of the view from this angle is its large, multi-spoked wheels.
Its rear packs a short roof-mounted spoiler, taillamps that seem to echo the design of the headlights, and a rear bumper with some shiny appliques.

Intelligent interior
Inside, the cabin of the all-new Mercedes-Benz GLC is crammed with technological amenities.
Appearing to be the midsize SUV of the future, the vehicle flaunts a seamless MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) Hyperscreen with a combined digital real estate area of 39.1 inches — covering the entirety of the dashboard.
It is powered by the Mercedes-Benz Operating System — an artificial intelligence-driven super brain that controls every aspect of the vehicle – from infotainment and automated driving to body comfort and charging.
Other notable features include the plush leather upholstery and the ambient lighting that illuminates the starry Sky Control panoramic roof.
Launch date
According to Mercedes-Benz, the all-new GLC will go on sale in the first half of 2026.
“The all-new electric GLC marks a turning point in the midsize segment,” the company wrote in a press release.
“The all-new electric GLC combines the reliability and elegance of Mercedes‑Benz with cutting-edge electric-drive systems and intelligent, intuitive software. Designed to adapt effortlessly to diverse needs and lifestyles, it continues the GLC legacy in electric form — iconic, versatile, intuitive and smooth,” it added.
“Mercedes‑Benz will offer a diverse portfolio of drive systems for every customer requirement. With impressive range, powerful performance and the comfort expected from a Mercedes‑Benz, the new GLC defines the future of electric driving,” it said.
