MG PH brings roadshow to Nuvali

MANILA: The Morris Garages (MG) Philippines Multiply Greatness Tour 2026 is heading to Ayala Malls Solenad, Nuvali, in Santa Rosa, Laguna. 

Per the local wing of the Chinese carmaker, the roadshow looks to bring the brand’s new energy lineup and an interactive automotive experience to motorists in the south and surrounding areas, offering visitors an opportunity to explore MG’s growing selection of electrified vehicles in one destination. 

“Following the success of its Metro Manila stops at SM Mall of Asia and TriNoma Mall, the Nuvali stop brings the tour closer to motorists in Laguna…” the company wrote. 

“More than a static display, the three-day event is designed to give customers the opportunity to learn, interact, and experience new energy mobility for themselves,” it added.

Highlighted models 

At the heart of the tour will be six MG new energy models: the MG G50 PHEV (plug-in hybrid vehicle), MG RX9 PHEV, MG HS PHEV, MG4 Urban EV (electric vehicle), MG S5 EV SUV (sport utility vehicle), and the MG Cyberster EV. 

Per MG Philippines, these nameplates demonstrate the range of electrified options available from the marque, which are designed to combine electric driving with long-distance flexibility to fully electric models built for a new generation of urban mobility. 

Hybrid roster 

According to MG Philippines, the G50 PHEV brings plug-in hybrid technology to a practical seven-seater multi-purpose vehicle. As such, the offering gives extended and growing families the space and flexibility needed for school runs, errands, family activities, and longer journeys. 

Meanwhile, the MG RX9 PHEV looks to provide a more premium take on seven-seater mobility, combining a commanding SUV presence with plug-in hybrid capability suited to both professional and family lifestyles. 

On the other hand, the MG HS PHEV combines stylish design, everyday practicality, comfort, and plug-in hybrid efficiency. 

All-electric offerings 

Those looking to jump straight to electric mobility can check out the MG4 Urban EV, which offers a youthful and distinctive approach to fully electric urban driving. 

As for the MG S5 EV SUV, the nameplate brings together contemporary SUV styling, intelligent technology, practicality, and fully electric performance. 

Test drives 

Potential buyers will also have the opportunity to get behind the wheel of available new-energy test drive units such as the MG G50 PHEV, MG RX9 PHEV, MG HS PHEV, MG4 Urban EV, and MG S5 EV SUV. 

For those interested in conventional internal combustion engine-powered vehicles, the MG G50 Plus, MG TRQ L, and all-new MG5 Prestige will also be available for test drives. 

“Whether visitors are considering an electrified vehicle or looking for a conventional powertrain, the test-drive experience gives them the opportunity to explore MG’s lineup and find a vehicle that best suits their needs,” MG Philippines noted. 

New-energy vehicle presentation 

MG Philippines will also hold a new-energy vehicle presentation to make the experience even more informative for attendees. 

On October 17—from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.—customers will have the opportunity to better understand EV technology, how charging works, and the key differences between battery electric vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles, and PHEV systems. 

According to MG Philippines, the session will also provide practical insights for motorists considering the transition to new energy mobility. 

The presentation is open to the public, with limited slots available. Interested participants may pre-register through this link.

Multiply Greatness Tour 

Likewise, MG Philippines will also bring its exclusive Multiply Greatness Tour purchase incentives to Nuvali. 

Customers can enjoy P40,000 in cash savings with the MG S5 EV’s introductory offer of P1,408,888, while customers who make a minimum P1,000 reservation during the Multiply Greatness Tour can receive an additional P10,000 incentive, bringing the MG S5 EV’s price to ₱1,398,888. 

Tour reservations also come with P30,000 worth of charging equipment, including a 7-kilowatt (kW) wall charger and a 3.3-kW portable charger. 

The additional reservation incentive and charging equipment offer is available on selected New Energy models, including the MG S5 EV, MG4 Urban EV, MG RX9 PHEV, and MG HS PHEV, subject to applicable terms and conditions. 

The Multiply Greatness Tour 2026 will be at Solenad Activity Park, Ayala Malls Solenad, Nuvali, Santa Rosa, Laguna, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., from October 16 to 18, 2026. 

“With every leg of the Multiply Greatness Tour, we want to make New Energy mobility easier for more Filipino customers to understand and experience,” MG Philippines President Wei Wei Zhang was quoted as saying. 

“Bringing the tour to Nuvali allows us to meet customers in Laguna and surrounding communities, while giving them the opportunity to explore our vehicles, learn about the technology, and experience the different powertrains firsthand. We invite everyone to join us, take a test drive, and enjoy the activities we have prepared,” he added.
