MIAS 2026: Debuting Geely EX2 5 pictures

MANILA: The Geely EX2 small hatchback has made its debut in the Philippines at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2026. 

Known as the best-selling model in China, the company turned over half a million units of the nameplate in 2025. 

With the potential to have the same impact in the Philippine market when it rolls out in June, here are specifications of the Geely EX2 according to the homologation papers issued by the Department of Energy.

Electric powertrain 

Under the hood of the Geely EX2 is a single permanent synchronous motor at the rear wheel axle. This setup makes 113 horsepower and 150 Newton-meters of torque. 

Range-wise, it does about 325 kilometers on a single charge. 

To tailor the driving feel to the needs of the person sitting behind the wheel, the vehicle comes with three drive modes, namely Economy, Comfort, and Sport. 

Further, it offers a vehicle-to-load capability to allow would-be owners to recharge other electric-powered devices. 

Exterior 

Outside, the Geely EX2 offers plenty of self curves, making the overall look of the hatchback friendly. 

At the fore is a clean-looking fascia with LED headlamps. Its lower front bumper gets some sharp-looking appliqués on the cheeks. 

The side profile of the Geely EX2 is highlighted by its flush door handles, black lower door claddings, side sill garnishes, blacked-out wheel arches, and dark-colored roof. 

At the back, it has a similarly plain tailgate with a roof-mounted spoiler and LED illumination. 

Notably, it has the below features: 

• Heated rear windshield 
• Power side mirrors 
• Headlamp with follow-me home function 

Interior 

The cabin of the Geely EX2 is fitted with an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch infotainment system with Flyme Auto technology. 

Smartphone connectivity, for both Apple and Android-powered devices, can be done by way of the Carbitlink system. As such, audio is dispersed in the cockpit through a six-speaker system. Charging can be done wirelessly. 

Other notable features include: 

• Vegan-leather upholstery 
• Ambient interior lighting 
• Manual air conditioning system 

Possible launch date, pricing 

The Geely EX2 will be officially launched sometime in June with a base price of under P1 million.
