Mitsubishi PH opens new dealership in Lucena

MANILA: Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has opened its 64th dealership in Lucena, Quezon. Mitsubishi Lucena is managed by Mizukuwa Motors Corp. (MZM), the same dealer partner that supervises Mitsubishi's dealerships in Banaba South, Batangas and Anabu Imus, Cavite. The facility has a land area of 4,000 square meters, and boasts a three-vehicle showroom, and services bays for 10 automobiles.

The opening ceremony was graced by President and Chief Executive Officer Takeshi Hara, MZM President Paolo Borromeo, and MZM Chairman of the Board Frank Eizmendi. Lucena City Mayor Mark Alcala was also present, and expressed that the brand's presence in the area is a welcome sight in the municipality's growing automotive business.

Lucena is known as the “Cocopalm City of the South” due to its vast stretch of coconut farms and mills  It is also known for housing major factories and distribution hubs for international fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies and liquor distilleries. A few vehicle assembly plants and dealerships, as well as commercial and business establishments, are steadily being constructed in response to the growing population of its suburban barangays.
