Omoda, Jaecoo opens 1st PH dealership, showroom in Cebu

MANILA: Omoda and Jaecoo have opened their first dealership and showroom in Cebu. 

Located at GMall along A. Soriano Avenue in Cebu City, the said facility has a total area of 296 square meters and will display the first batch of the two brands’ initial offerings. 

Unlike most car brands who usually set up maiden shops in the bustling business districts of Luzon, Omoda and Jaecoo has decided to open its first dealership in the country in the Visayan region. 

The brands explained that “the region’s thriving business hub” was their “primary consideration in selecting the location of their first store in the country.” 

“As the Queen City of the South, Cebu City serves as the gateway to the growing Visayan market. Cebu is a central location that connects islands and communities. We are thus excited to make our signature automotive engineering DNA available to the Cebuanos, and we are confident that Cebu will be a successful home for our first dealership,” Omoda and Jaecoo Country Director Terry Hu stated. 

“This inauguration marks the beginning of a new chapter for Omoda and Jaecoo in the Philippines. We are confident in the future of Omoda and Jaecoo in the market, and we look forward to a long and successful journey together,” He added.

Highlighting the dealership opening on December 18 was  the Omoda C5 and E5. Below are their respective prices:

In a press release, Omoda and Jaecoo said that they will announce the price of the Jaecoo EJ6 soon. 

Omoda and Jaecoo’s first dealership in the country is run in partnership with Eres Automotive Incorporated. 

“Today marks the beginning of Omoda and Jaecoo and Eres Automotive Inc.’s partnership. We saw first-hand the potential of Omoda and Jaecoo to become a true leader in the Philippine automotive space. We are excited to finally bring the brands’ unique automotive engineering DNA to Cebu, and we look forward to offering the brand to neighboring provinces in the Visayas,” Eres Automotive Incorporated President and Chief Executive Officer Carlo Japson said.
