PH-spec Tesla Model 3’s starting price drops to P1.838M

MANILA: Tesla has brought the Philippine-retailed Model 3’s starting price to P1.838 million — allowing customers to experience intelligent innovation at a much affordable price point.

In a statement, the Austin headquartered company’s local arm shared that the new pricing — slapped on the full electric sedan’s Standard option — made it the most affordable vehicle "with the lowest cost of ownership" among the current members of its line-up.

The Tesla Model 3 Standard offers its customers a 534-kilometer range (based on Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicle Test Procedure) with a peak Supercharging rate of 225 kilowatts.

In the 2025 Department of Energy-Petron Eco Run, the vehicle had a 92.31 kilometers per liter of gasoline equivalent-reading.

Aside from that, the aforementioned model is powered by an electric motor that runs in rear-wheel drive configuration that lets the car go 0-100 kilometers per hour in 6.2 seconds.

Inside, the vehicle’s multi-function steering as well as first- and second row textile-covered seats all have heating functions.

Its 15.4-inch touchscreen display is mated to a seven speakers and voice assist system to request for songs, playlists — among others.

Further, the Model 3 Standard also has the Tesla App wherein owners can stay connected and experience advanced technology from anywhere remotely. Its technology can be further improved with over-the-air software updates that come as standard.

Among the features that the Tesla App are:

• Remote climate control: adjust the cabin’s temperature before the drive
• Phone key: Lets drivers open the car upon arrival or unlock and lock it through its Remote Access feature
• Dog mode:  keeps co-pilot safe and cozy while the driver is away
• Sentry mode: Monitor the vehicle’s surroundings while unattended

Moreover, the vehicle boasts numerous technologies such as:

• Automatic emergency braking
• Lane departure avoidance

For an additional P394,000, the vehicle will be available with its Fun Self-Driving Capability package. This includes enhanced autopilot.

At P1.838 million, the Tesla Model 3 Standard can be had in Pearl White Multi Coat body color with 18-inch Prismata Wheels and an all-black interior. The other hue options for the Tesla Model 3 are Diamond Black (extra P66,000) and Stealth Grey (P99,000).

The Tesla Model 3 Standard can also access the marque’s Supercharging stations that have the lowest rates for juicing up electric vehicles.

Lastly, the fumes-free car is packaged with a one-year comprehensive insurance coverage as well as the four-year or 80,000 km basic vehicle and the eight-years or 160,000 km battery and drive unit warranties.
