Porsche Mission E Concept Production Confirmed
MANILA: Porsche performance wagons, coupes and crossovers are common on roads but the next happening from this automaker is its first all-electric car. Yes, it has been made official that that the Porsche Mission E Concept which was revealed at Frankfurt Motor Show in September, will now enter the production phase. The brand will invest around $762 million at Stuttgart Zuffenhausen site to start with the project where creation of 1000 new jobs is also expected along with expansion of this facility.
Talking about the Mission E Concept, it is an all-electric four-door sports saloon with glistened exteriors and leading interiors. The engine can produce maximum power of 600 PS and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in mere 3.5 seconds. The maximum run of it is 500 km where it can be easily charged upto 80% in just 15 minutes.
With this, the brand is making a statement of its future where it will keep delivering the riveting sports car even under the rapid changing auto era. With the launch date of the Mission E Concept yet to be announced, Dr. Blume; Chairman of Porsche Executive Board said that this electric sports car will be a very sophisticated combination of sporty appeal and upcoming technological heart.
