Electric version of nameplate to enjoy double premiere
MANILA: Porsche’s second all-electric sport utility vehicle (SUV) will make its debut tomorrow, November 19.

It will make its first public appearance at the Icons of Porsche Festival in Dubai.According to the German carmaker, the Porsche Cayenne Electric will first be revealed via a digital world premiere that will be broadcast on the marque’s official YouTube channel. Press releases will also be published on the brand’s official newsroom and on LinkedIn.
Three days later, international media and fans of the brand will be able to discover the new model live for the first time at the Icons of Porsche Festival in Dubai.
Photo from Porsche“More than two decades ago, Porsche succeeded in transferring the legend of the sports car brand to a new market segment with the Cayenne. Since 2002, the SUV has represented the ideal blend of performance, versatility, and everyday practicality,” Porsche said in a press statement.
“With the Cayenne Electric, Porsche is now opening a new chapter in the success story of the model series — with outstanding driving dynamics, excellent long-distance comfort, uncompromising off-road capability, and the efficiency of modern e-mobility,” it added.

The all-electric Porsche Cayenne will use the brand’s latest electric vehicle architecture and looks to set the new standard in the SUV segment, both in terms of performance and charging capability as well as comfort and digital connectivity.
The Porsche Cayenne Electric complements the existing range of combustion-engine-equipped and plug-in hybrid variants.
