Porsche Philippines to host Porsche Asia-Pacific sales training
MANILA: Porsche Philippines is set to host Porsche Asia-Pacific sales training which will speed up the sales figures of Porsche vehicles and will work with sales consultants. The creation of the Porsche Global Certification System (PGCS) thus showcases the automaker’s efforts to ensure customer-oriented workforce with the tools and skills. It is the first company in the automobile industry to organize and implement the global program.
PGCS is also taking care of customer experience across the world where Porsche vehicles and products have acquired a good market base. It also creates a “framework for all future training” through consistent activities managed by Porsche.
Thus, it was significant that Porsche Philippines played host appointing Nick Wilson as main trainer to the PGCS qualification training administered by Porsche Asia-Pacific (PAP). Wilson is the brand and strategy manager at Porsche Cars Great Britain while Daniel Kalai is the PAP regional training manager. So, it proves that holding the event in the country underscored the importance of the Philippines as a great market for Porsche.
Sales consultants Sanith Chan from Cambodia, Elain Tan from Singapore, Rustom Yusuf from Sri Lanka, Jason Philips and Sarun Suebsaeng from Thailand, Huong Nguyen Ngoc, Anh Phan Tai, Lieu Lu Thi Bich and Thi Nguyen Thuy Khanh from Vietnam joined David Gomez, Raffy de Leon, Mary Anne Espinosa, Manuel Montilla, Ervin Villafranca and Bryan Ellamil of the Philippines will go through intensive basic training on Aug. 10 to 13 and advanced training starting from Sept. 21 to 24.
Porsche Philippines sales manager, David Gomez says, “My fellow participants will agree with me that the sessions were extremely eye-opening, even for longtime sales people. It made us appreciate the brand even more and, ultimately, what we need to do to convey its virtues to each person we face through a professional sales process. It’s all about sharing our passion about the Porsche brand, polished even more through the training.”
The eight-day training program will be dedicated to enhance the sales skills of a Porsche Sales consultant.
