Russ Swift to perform driving stunts with all-new BRZ, Subaru vehicles at MIAS

MANILA: British precision and stunt driver and Guinness World Record holder Russ Swift will be performing stunt driving maneuvers during another appearance at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) this April 7 to 10.

    • As Motor Image Pilipinas (MIP) exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles in the country announced, Swift will be showcasing the the capabilities of the new Forester and the WRX at the Russ Swift Stunt Show at the 2022 MIAS. 

    Along with the Subaru boxer engine at the heart of the action, Swift will also be driving the all-new BRZ, MIP added. 

    As with his last performance in the Philippines in 2019, Swift will be performing his signature Swift Parking stunt, along with J-turns, donuts, and a vehicle "dance routine" at the 2022 MIAS.

    Swift, who has a very strong following among Filipino fans, has performed in various parts of the Philippines, such as Cebu and Davao, over the past two decades. As described by MIP, Swift has said that nothing beats seeing his spectators, both kids and adults alike, smile as he does his heart-stopping maneuvers for them.

    “Motor Image Subaru is happy to have the return of Guinness World Record driver Russ Swift at MIAS to bring thrills, excitement and smiles to Subaru’s Filipino fans once again,” Deputy Chairman and Managing Director of motor distributor company Tan Chong International Limited Glenn Tan expressed.
