The Mitsubishi Strada is the official DepEd vehicle

MANILA: One hundred sixty-six units of the Mitsubishi Strada 4x4 GLS MT pickup were delivered to the Department of Education (DepEd) San Fernando, Pampanga by Motors Carworld Pampanga.

This brings the total to 254 units, as 88 units had been released last December 5, 2019. The Strada trucks will be put to work as official service vehicles of the Field Engineers of DepEd for their regular field inspections. They will also serve as rescue vehicles of the National Disaster Risk Reduction Council in times of emergency or calamity.

Said DepEd Undersecretary Alain Del B. Pascua, during the turnover ceremony, “No school division office will be left behind, as we continue to gear up our actions, hold on the wheels of our goals, focus on our vision, and have a safe ride with our mission.”
