Toyota Philippines to soon roll out 2019 Toyota Vios

MANILA: Toyota Motors Philippines (TMP) is planning to make July 2018 special for everyone. They intend to do so by organising a music festival, called “Toyota Music Fest” along with the launch of their most awaited car. It's none other than the all-new Toyota Vios.

The Toyota Music Fest which will be held at the Filinvest City Event Grounds in Muntinlupa City on July 28, 2018, will host the unveiling of this amazing car to all the Toyota lovers in the Philippines.

Launched for the first time in Thailand back in August 2017, the Yaris Ativ (the all-new Vios) earned a lot of praises from all the corners. It was due to its sleek design language that the sedan looked more upmarket, both from the inside as well as the outside.

Now, this same sedan will be making it to the automobile market of the Philippines likely by the end of this month. The car will be probably unveiled in the ceremony at the Toyota Motors Philippines (TMP) assembly plant in Laguna and later at the Toyota Music Fest. It is speculated that the all-new 2019 Vios will be present at the event, among other Toyota cars Philippines . 

The festival will consist of the acts from different bands/artists, such as the IV of Spades, The Ransom Collective, Ely Buendia, Ebe Dancel, 6Cyclemind, Parokya Ni Edgar, Silent Sanctuary, and December Avenue. The opening of the gate is scheduled around at 2:00 pm, on 28th July.

In March of this year, a keen motorist spotted the next-gen Vios being driven on the roads of the Philippines. On the basis of this, it became clear that the all-new Vios is designed just like the Yaris Ativ.

Therefore, the 2019 Vios will likely be accompanied by a swooping front end similar to Yaris Ativ and dominating its front fascia would be a large front grill and elongated headlights. However, the rear end might receive a more mature look due to the smooth-shaped rear bumper and the all-new set of tail lights.

In terms of power, the all-new Vios from Toyota is expected to house the same 1.3-litre and 1.5-litre engines upon its launch. Interestingly, the transmission options for the new Toyota Vios are speculated to be a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and a five-speed manual gearbox.

As far as the interior is concerned, the Vios will likely come with a cabin having a striking resemblance to that of the Yaris. Apart from this, it is also rumored that the high-end models will be embracing keyless entry, start button, touchscreen infotainment, a 4.2-inch multi-info display, and an automatic climate control.

Undoubtedly, all eyes are waiting on the rolling out of all-new Toyota Vios. Only time will tell the fate of the car, but for now, it seems to be an intriguing option for Toyota car users and the new car buyers.
