VinFast parent company Vingroup honored in Time’s ‘World’s Best Companies 2025’

MANILA: Vingroup, the parent company of car manufacturing brand VinFast, has been honored by Time Magazine as one of the “World’s Best Companies” for 2025. 

As the conglomerate pointed out, the aforementioned accolade was compiled by Time together with global data firm Statista. It evaluates a business entity based on its revenue growth, employee satisfaction, and in-depth analysis of sustainability. 

In the case of Vingroup, Time and Statista’s findings gave it a total score of 77.06, giving it a rank of 817 out of 1,000 companies worldwide. That said, Vingroup has become the first-ever Vietnamese company to enter Time Magazine’s “World’s Best Companies” list. 

“Being named one of Time’s ‘Worlds Best Companies 2025’ is not only a testament to our tireless efforts but also a recognition of Vingroup’s credibility, transparency, and global standing,” Vingroup Vice Chairwoman and Chairwoman of VinFast Le Thuy said.  

 This will motivate us to continue our commitment to sustainable growth, fostering a progressive work culture, and making a positive impact on the community and society for a better future for all,” Le Thuy added. 

With regard to revenue growth, Vingroup attained a “very high” rank. Its status in the said metric is thanks to its VND 130.476 trillion (around P282 billion) of net revenue for the first half of 2025, which is equivalent to a 103 percent increase compared to the same period last year. 

In terms of employee satisfaction, Vingroup ranked 894th globally. Per the Vietnamese firm, this is hinted at by its consistent inclusion among the “Best Places to Work in Vietnam” lists.

The corporation’s sustainability, meanwhile, is a clear strength. It has made significant strides in contributing to societal development, and with respect to VinFast, has become a leader in environmentally friendly forms of mobility.

VinFast Philippines operates as a direct subsidiary of the main Vietnam-based branch of VinFast. Back in May 2025, the brand’s local arm officially joined the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Incorporated (CAMPI). 

Currently, VinFast Philippines’ local lineup of electric vehicles (EV) consists of the following: 

• VF 3
• VF 5
• VF 6
• VF 7
• VF 9

The most affordable model listed above is the VF 3 - a subcompact city car priced at P745,000. 

For its capabilities, the VF 3 boasts an all-electric range of 215 kilometers, according to the New European Driving Cycle. The model can also produce up to 40 horsepower and 110 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque. Power is sent to its rear wheels.
