VinFast PH bags 2025 Legacy Awards for Business

MANILA: VinFast Philippines has bagged the 2025 Legacy Awards for Business under the “Excellence in Strategic Mobility” category. The aforementioned is a testament to the company’s commitment to sustainable development, as well as its continuous investment in corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs. 

Per the Vietnamese brand’s local arm, the said award likewise highlights its selection of smart but affordable electric vehicle (EV) nameplates that are positioned to provide meaningful contributions to society through their eco-friendly propulsion systems.

“We are truly honored to receive the Legacy Award for Business - a meaningful recognition of the journey VinFast is committed to in the Philippines. From day one, our mission has extended beyond delivering high-quality EVs; we strive to be a catalyst for positive change - where green mobility, sustainable growth, and social responsibility go hand in hand,” Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Sales and Dealer Network Development at VinFast Philippines Abner Berdos said.

“Through breakthrough programs such as affordable financing schemes and partnerships to expand nationwide charging infrastructure, we aim to make EV ownership accessible to all Filipinos, regardless of location or income level. This award affirms our belief that a business can thrive while keeping people and the planet at the heart of every strategic decision, contributing to a cleaner environment, economic progress, and a more sustainable future for generations to come,” Berdos added. 

Other VinFast highlights in PH

Following its introduction to the local market in 2024, VinFast has already rolled out one of its most affordable nameplates yet - the VF 3. Classed as a city car, the said four-seater comes in a boxy shape that was clearly inspired by sport utility vehicles (SUV). It also boasts a range of up to 215 kilometers (km), and it is priced at P645,000 if bought with a battery subscription.

After the VinFast VF 3, the brand introduced the VF 7 in October 2024 and the VF 6 in April 2025. The former starts at P1.76 million (with battery subscription), while the latter currently starts at P1.419 million.

Besides the growth of its product portfolio, the brand’s local arm is also looking to grow its dealership network to 60 new outlets nationwide. For the said venture, VinFast has already acquired a number of dealer partners, and it is planning to open 25 new dealerships in 2025 alone. 

More recently, the automotive company has signed Bosch Car Service and Rapidé to further expand the reach of its vehicle service network.
