As the EV maker shared, the said strategy will leverage partnerships with several local corporations and entities in order to meet all the needs of prospective VinFast clients and current owners. The aforementioned spans the following key points:
- 60 new showrooms by the end of 2025 for better accessibility.
- Partnerships with maintenance chains like Goodyear, Tire King, and more recently, Rapidé, for after-sales coverage.
- Establishment of over 15,000 charging points across the country by 2025.
Additionally, the company has become a member of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Incorporated (CAMPI) this year, which it says provides it with a voice in policymaking in line with the local automotive industry. The company has also continued to work together with mobility partners, such as Green GSM, whose drivers currently use VinFast models.
As disclosed by VinFast, its Whole-of-Ecosystem Strategy supports the goals of the Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act (EVIDA). Moreover, promoting widespread adoption of electric vehicles will help the Philippine government achieve its target of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 75 percent by 2030, in line with the Paris Agreement.
