Vios Cup Season 3 Leg 2 Comes to Manila Once Again

MANILA: Year after year, this Toyota sponsored motorsports event is getting bigger and better, with every next season witnessing greater response from onlookers, participants, and celebrities. Earlier this month we updated you about Leg 1 Vios Cup Season 3, providing you with its first-hand itinerary info and complete race results. Now after only a month's gap, we advise you to get ready for another round of 'waku-doki' experience, as after roaming around in the busy streets of Pampanga, Toyota Vios Cup is gearing up to enjoy the hustle & bustle of Manila City.

In short, the biggest motorsports festival of all times is speedily moving towards Manila. So, all you speed and car race lovers, prep yourself up to enjoy another round of Toyota zoom-zoom event. We would advise you to carry essentials like -

• Sun protecting gears, like sunglasses, umbrellas, sunscreen lotion (Mr. Sun seems to be in its full fury)
• Roadmaps & proper selection of means of transportation (Traffic will be at its peak during the race frame)
• Water & few ready to eat items (Take full care of your tummy to enjoy the event to the fullest)
• Don't forget the camera (You never know when you catch hold a celebrity)
• Avoid carrying any valuable possession (Nothing deserves more attention than a racing Vios)

Though we are still due to receive a full fledged Vios cup scheduled, but all our previous experiences have armed us to speculate the same efficiently.

Speculation time:

Day 1 - As a norm, first day will witness the official qualifying race. The day will start as early as 07:00 AM when drivers will be briefed about the rules which will be followed by a practice race till 12:00 PM. At around 02:00 PM the official qualifying race will take place, deciding the names that'll appear on the scoreboard next day. The pre-final race should end by 05:00 PM, and at around 07:00 PM Toyota will host a pre-race dinner for all participants.

Day 2 - The final race day will start at around 09:00 AM when the registrations for the day will begin. We are also expecting some sort of opening program and also an activity from Toyota Car Club. Final race should run from 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM , with awarding ceremony commencing from 6 PM. Rest of the day will be followed by dinner, entertainment, and other social events.

Time to brush-up old memories:

This year Vios Cup started as early as 19th March, when Race 1 was held in its full glory at Clark International Speedway, Mabalacat, Pampanga. One addition that was introduced this year was the introduction of a new racing class, 'The Super Sporting Class'. Racers that claimed the throne in Race 1 were Jinno Rufino ( Celebrity Class), Oscar Suarez (Promotional Class), Miguel Diaz (Sporting Class) and Allan Uy (Super Sporting Class).
