MANILA: As of June 2025, Volvo’s top-selling model worldwide is the XC60. To be more specific, the Swedish car brand has already sold a total of 2.7 million XC60 units since the nameplate’s initial introduction in 2008. As such, it replaces the Volvo 240 - the previous best-selling model from the Gothenburg-headquartered automobile manufacturer.

Volvo has already sold 2.7 million examples of the XC60 since 2008.Per the carmaker, the XC60 has risen to become a favorite among its clients due to its safety and “premium driving experience.” The model has also managed to penetrate the lucrative Chinese market, after becoming its first-ever model to be manufactured within the aforementioned country.

A few months ago, the Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year also hailed Volvo as the winner of the prestigious 2025 Sandy Myhre Award.
Philippine-spec Volvo XC60
In the local market, the Volvo XC60 retails at P4.49 million as the B6 R-Design Boost Hybrid trim. Under its hood is a 2.0-liter inline-4 mild-hybrid gasoline engine capable of producing up to 313 horsepower and 460 Newton-meters of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
