Reasons why you should consider Honda RS150 for your daily city commutation

Honda has consistently provided with technically advanced and sporty rides to the Filipinos with their ever-changing requirements. One such offering in the 150cc underbone segment is the Honda RS 150 which lock its horns against the likes of Yamaha Aerox 155 and Suzuki Raider 150. What makes RS150 different from the other bikes in the segment is its MotoGP inspired liquid-cooled engine that is capable enough to give the rider sports bike feel in underbone form.

Here are some of the other highlighting features of the all-new RS150

  1. Honda’s PGM-FI The new Honda RS150 is the latest to feature company’s programmable fuel injection (PGM-FI) that helps in supplying the fuel in an optimum manner with the correct proportion of air in the combustion chamber. This results in improved power delivery without much Carbon emissions in the environment.
  2. Powerful Engine We already told you that the engine is infused with MotoGP DNA and with a displacement of 149.76cc, the DOHC, 4 Valve engine is capable of pumping out a maximum power output of 16 PS at 9000 rpm and peak torque of 13.5 Nm at 6500 rpm. The engine is further mated to a 6-speed constant mesh.
  3. Better Braking & Handling The optimum maneuverability, performance, and confidence of the bike is ensured by a twin perimeter frame while the firm handling of the bike is a result of new sport cast wheels which are again inspired by Honda’s big bikes. The class leading braking is ensured through big disc brakes that is one of the most important aspects while driving through heavy traffic.
  4. Suspension To back a potent engine of RS150, it is equipped with a telescopic fork at the front and mono shock swing arm at the rear. The particular setup ensures utmost comfort with a bump-free ride even at high speeds.
  5. Other features Honda has paid attention to every detail in a significant manner, which is highlighted by a durable LED headlight fitted in a sharp case, futuristic digital colored screen instrument cluster that reflects gear, rpm, speed, and much more. The auto-secure key shutter, sporty taillights, and a sporty clip-on handlebar are some of the other worth mentioning features of the bike. Apart from the above-mentioned features, the bike offers overall improved riding experience to the rider on both: city roads and highways. To suit varying needs of the Filipinos, it is available in two versions namely RS150R and RS 150R Repsol, each being different in its own way. So, if you are looking to get a bike which is sporty, economical and possess sporty characteristics at an affordable price tag, Honda RS150 is a good pick from the lot at a starting price of Php 96,500.
