Tough looks 

One of the Royal Enfield Himalayan Black Mana Edition’s strongest suits is its looks. On that note, the motorcycle brings sleek and sexy back with a dash of ruggedness in a new, appealing package. 

First, the model is wrapped in a deep Stealth Black finish that makes it look at home, whether traversing tight traffic in the metro or braving the tough roads in the provinces. It even gets matte detailing, which further captures the rugged spirit of Mana Pass — a high-altitude mountain route infamous for having harsh conditions. 

Bolstering its “ready-for-anything” look are appointments, such as black Rally handguards, a black Rally seat, Rally mudguards, and black tubeless wire-spoked wheels. 

In stock form, the Royal Enfield Himalayan Black Mana Edition already looks capable, but with the addition of panniers and luggage add-ons, it would look like a proper adventure-touring bike that can take owners to and from the toughest places on Earth. 

Capable powertrain 

Backing up its tough looks is a capable powertrain that offers more than enough power and torque to brave most challenging terrains. 

In betwixt the rider’s thighs is a 450 cubic-centimeter engine mated to a six-speed gearbox. The powerplant is liquid-cooled and has ride-by-wire technology for that dual-purpose capability. 

Maximum power output is at 39.47 horses with torque peaking at 40 Newton-meters. 

Per Royal Enfield Philippines, the Himalayan Black Mana Edition’s gasoline-fed mill was inspired by the high-altitude Sherpa. Hence, it was built to provide “torque to pull you out of a sandy hollow at 5,000 meters above sea level while being able to enjoy the five-day trip back home afterward.” 

More affordable pricing 

The Royal Enfield Himalayan Black Mana Edition has been made more affordable thanks to a price cut rolled out by its distributor Motociclista Scatola Incorporated. 

It can be had for P365,000 — lower than the previous top-of-the-line Premium variant with tubeless tires, which retailed at P369,000.
