Honda AirBlade 2020 is en route to the Philippines

MANILA: Honda introduced the AirBlade 2020 in Vietnam in December 2019, and since then, the scooter has become highly awaited scooter in the Philippines. To put an end to the restless moments for the fanatics, Honda Philippines will, at last, launch the heavily revamped scooter in the country on the coming weekend.

The Honda AirBlade 2020 Philippines gets two different engine options in the form of a 125cc and a 150cc petrol-fed mills. While the smaller motor generates 11.3 hp of maximum power and 11.68 Nm of peak torque, the bigger engine is capable of churning out a top power output of 12.9 hp alongside a peak torque of 13.3 Nm. While it is not clear yet whether or not Honda Philippines will offer the 2020 AirBlade with both the engines, we would love if the Japanese automaker put both the engines up for grabs.

Moving on from the engines, the 2020 Honda AirBlade can be had either with a single-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS) or combined braking system (CBS). Moreover, the scooter also sports some cool modern-day features like a USB charger, remote response key system, LED-equipped multi-function key shutter, single multifunction switch for fuel tank lid and utility box, and an all-digital instrument cluster.

According to the automaker, features like Electronically Controlled ACG Starter, Complete Combustion, Programmed Fuel Injection, and Intelligent Low Friction make the 2020 AirBlade one of the better offerings in the segment. In the appearance department, the 2020 Honda AirBlade flaunts a very muscular and sporty look that will surely allure young riders.

The front end of the scooter incorporates a LED dual headlamp assembly with the turn signals sitting above the headlamps. As for the paint finish, the 2020 Honda AirBlade gets a three-tone paint scheme and boasts a very attractive appearance. At the rear, there is an LED taillamp. The sporty scooter rides on 14-inch alloy wheels and comes equipped with a fuel tank that can hold 4.4-litre fuel at once.
