Doesn’t offer the claimed fuel economy
The Toyota Hilux is an excellent work vehicle. I had been thinking of buying it for a long time and last June I finally purchased it. But I'm not at all happy with its fuel economy. I struggle to get around 28 mpg even without towing. Even when I drive it gently it fails to offer the claimed fuel-efficiency. When towing, its fuel efficiency drops down to around 20mpg! The good things about this vehicle are that it drives smoothly on the tracks and road! Its construction is also very durable. But I face lots of difficulties when getting it into reverse. I hope it gets better with time!
