Sturdy but poor fuel economy
I had heard a lot about the Toyota Hilux. People swear by it when it comes to a work vehicle, all thanks to its tough build quality. I was thinking of buying it, but I'm really very disappointed with its fuel economy. I struggle to get 30mpg without towing, and that’s when I drive it gently! When towing, I get around 20mpg! The positives of this vehicle are that it's smooth on tracks and the road! It is made for those who need a sturdy vehicle for extreme scenarios. But it is another to get it into reverse, might get better over time! It is not as polished as its rivals.
