I often have to drive through remote construction zones that at times feel like off-road test tracks. The approach angles and ground clearance of this vehicle make passing through deep ruts and rubble piles surprisingly easy. The water fording ability of this vehicle becomes very important during the monsoon when many access roads get transformed into shallow streams. I never had a problem with turbo lag or stalling, which proves the robustness of the protective engineering of Toyota. Its 8.7 inches of ground clearance allows it to traverse deep ruts, rocks, and logs without underbody contact.
