The F 900 R is a "dynamic roadster" for riders looking for a bike with sporty and aggressive looks. It squats somewhat lower, with rear and front suspension travel of 5.3 and 5.6 inches, respectively, and a dynamic, active sitting posture. The new F 900 looks very different from its predecessor. The broad handlebar, forward-positioned 13-liter petrol tank, and angular LED headlamp give the bike a distinctly "roadster" appearance. Aside from the lack of wind protection due to the naked silhouette of the bike, two balancing shafts mitigate engine vibrations.
