With all the accessible torque, the Kawasaki Z500 has proven to be a rewarding mid-range machine. However, the engine is quite loud mechanically, and it also has some vibrations, starting around 4500 rpm and noticeable at 6000 rpm. Handling of this bike is neutral, agile, and responsive, with this motorcycle weighing 167 kg fuelled. This bike holds a line effortlessly, goes where you look, and is also pretty forgiving. Ideal for a new rider, but still pleasing for those with more experience under their belt.
