Here is Volvo PH’s all-electric lineup

Volvo Cars Philippines currently has three emissions-free models in its roster.

Recently, the company highlighted its all-electric lineup, underscoring its commitment to becoming the leader in the local electric vehicle (EV) arena. 

Per the Hariphil Asia Resources, Incorporated (HARI)-led marque, its current roster of emissions-free vehicles consists of the recently launched Volvo EX30, EC40, and EX40. 

“Our Future is Electric. Volvo is committed to leading an electrified automotive industry, producing electrified power options for the entire vehicle lineup we offer. We aim to minimize the environmental impact of daily driving to protect what’s most important — life. And by ‘life,’ we mean not just the passenger but every life on the planet,” the Philippine subsidiary of the Swedish car manufacturer said in a press release. 

“This grand vision is a global effort. HARI, the official distributor of Volvo cars in the Philippines, extends this commitment to the country by offering Volvo’s complete lineup of EV crossovers,” the company added. 

Volvo EX30

Released sometime in November 2024, the Volvo EX30 comes in as a luxurious electric crossover that offers big performance in a compact form factor. 

On that note, it is the model in Volvo Cars Philippines’ stable that has the lowest carbon footprint among its siblings.

Volvo EC40 

On the other hand, the Volvo EC40 (prior called the C40 Recharge) is a crossover that delivers fun and excitement without the guilt. 

It packs powerful twin electric motors that produces some 408 horsepower (hp) and sends the crossover from zero to 100 kilometers per hour (kph) in under five seconds.

What’s more is that despite the generous power it offers, it can still accommodate long-distance driving thanks to a battery that can run up to 650 kilometers (km) on a single charge. And while we are on the topic of charging, owners can juice up the Volvo EC40 from 10-80 percent in just 27 minutes. 

The Volvo EC40’s creature comfort appointments are as guilt-free as its zero tailpipe emissions powertrain.

• Cabin air purifier with PM 2.5 filter

• Cross-traffic alert with auto brake
• Blind spot information system 
• Lane-keeping assist 
• Collision avoidance system

Volvo EX40 

Finally, the Volvo EX40 — formerly the XC40 Recharge — aims to redefine sustainable driving thanks to a host of features that can help elevate one’s experience in the journey to sustainability.
