Isuzu mu-X's 5 elegant hues in PH

The updated Isuzu mu-X is now out for the Philippine market, and it is positioned as a strong contender in the highly contested mid-size sports utility vehicle (SUV) segment. 

For its higher-spec trims, the Isuzu-made model utilizes a 3.0-liter inline-4 turbodiesel engine paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. At maximum, the said powertrain can generate up to 187 horsepower and 450 Newton-meters of torque. 

Making the vehicle ready for adventure is a 4x4 drivetrain, a double wishbone (front) and multi-link (rear) suspension systems, and Isuzu’s Terrain Command Select Dial with “Rough Terrain Mode.” 

Inside, the SUV was equipped with plenty of creature comforts, the most notable of which include dual-zone automatic climate controls, power-adjustable front seats, wireless smartphone charging, a three-row seating configuration, a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and leather upholstery - among others. 

The model was likewise given loads of advanced driver-assist systems, such as:

• Forward collision warning

• 360-degree view camera

Lastly, the Isuzu mu-X comes with a relatively accessible price ranging from P1.725 million-P2.67 million.

Eiger Gray

First off is Eiger Gray, which is available for the Isuzu mu-X LS-E 4x4 AT, LS-E 4x2 AT, and the LS-A 4x2 AT. 

On a visual standpoint, Eiger Gray provides a neutral tone for the distinctively styled mu-X. It isn’t too loud or quiet, and it provides just the right amount of contrast to the model’s two-tone wheels and black-colored exterior parts.

Onyx Black

Available to the LS-E 4x4 AT, LS-A 4x2 AT, and the entry-level RZ4E LS variant is Onyx Black. Among the Isuzu model’s color options, this one makes the otherwise burly SUV appear more elegant.

Satin Pearl White

Satin Pearl White is the one to choose for buyers wanting a gleaming and very easy-to-spot version of the mu-X. It is available for the LS-E and LS-A variants and provides good contrast to the ride’s black exterior parts, while highlighting its masculine silhouette. 

While it looks good in any weather, any type of white color is similar to black in that it can be hard to keep clean. It will, after all, make dirt and paint imperfections easier to see. 

Mercury Silver and Splash White

Exclusive to the RZ4E LS 4x2 AT are Mercury Silver and Splash White. Mercury Silver is a neutral color that will practically camouflage your mu-X in a sea of other SUVs on the road.

Splash white, in turn, is your basic run-of-the-mill bright car color with lesser levels of luster than Satin Pearl White. 

Sure, both colors still make the mu-X look good. But otherwise, the two are simpler, more utilitarian choices compared to the other hues mentioned above.
