2016 Mazda BT-50 Pro Officially Launches in Thailand

MANILA: The Japanese brand, Mazda has also choose the BIG Motor Sale, presently going in Thailand to launch the 2016 BT-50 Pro which is basically a facelifted version. Mazda Thailand President Hidesuke Takesue said that the new BT-50 Pro is the "perfect pick-up" for this era with elegant design both inside and outside resembling that of a luxury SUV. This pick-up is produced at the AutoAliance Tahiland (AAT) plant in Rayong for local markets and for exports as well.

Up on the front, the pickup has restyled headlights with redesigned bumper, chrome sleek grille, and large fenders. The rear has reworked taillights, and the 17-inch alloy wheels along with strong chassis enhance its utility and tough elements. Inside the BT-50 Pro, there is a three-spoke steering wheel, Blue tooth connectivity system, round air-con vents and multi-information display. The dash of silver is also seen on doors, handles, armrests, shift knob, and center console. Thus, giving the cabin a premium touch.

Talking about the power of this pick up, it has three engine options. First, a 3.2-litre mill that produces 203 PS of power and 470 Nm of torque. Second is a 2.2-litre which cranks out 152 PS and 375 Nm. Third is a 2.5-litre engine which generates 168 PS and 225 Nm. These engines are either mated to a six-speed manual or automatic transmission and are available in either 2WD or 4WD drivetrain. The prices for these pickups range from THBaht 561,00 to THBaht 1,023,000 depending on your choice of single cab, double cab and of petrol or diesel variant.
