5 Audi models to debut at Auto Shanghai 2025

MANILA: The upcoming Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition (Auto Shanghai) will host the debut of five new models from Audi.

The first of which is the production model of the Audi E5 Sportback, which (then called the E concept) Zigwheels Philippines reported during our last trip to China.

In addition, the following models will break cover at the said motoring exhibition:

• Audi A6L e-tron
• Audi A5L
• Audi A5L Sportback
• Audi Q5L

The forthcoming presentation of the five nameplates is part of the company’s effort to bring Audi to the forefront of electric mobility in China and in the global market. At the same time, the Ingolstadt-headquartered marque looks to maintain its strong position in the market for combustion-engine vehicles.

“Last year, we took key steps to secure future success in China together with our joint-venture partners FAW (First Automotive Works) and SAIC (Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation). As this important market develops further, our tailored models continue to grow in importance. At 2025 Auto Shanghai, we are going to show that Audi delivers in China,” Audi Chief Executive Officer Gernot Döllner said in a press release.
