MANILA: Ford has globally unveiled the all-new, 14th-generation F-150, which is is one of the models in the F-series lineup highlighted as the most productive, light-duty full-size pickup truck on the automobile market.
The all-new Ford F-150 sets a benchmark for light-duty vehicles as it aims to attain higher horsepower, torque, payload, and towing of every full-size pickup. It also incorporates all-new attributes to improve customer productivity and opens up new connected vehicle developments like over-the-air updates to aid in keeping F-150 at the frontier of systematic technology.
The all-new F-150 starts with a robust and well-tested base, which is a fully enclosed high-strength steel frame with a military-grade, high-strength, aluminum-alloy chassis. Each panel of a unique, durable exterior has been reconfigured while retaining its reliable and rugged, classic look, including wrap-around bumpers, new power dome hood, and upgraded headlamp design.
At the same time, larger-diameter tires pulled out three-quarters of an inch, a tucked-in midsection, and higher front fenders establish a more robust and durable appeal on and off the road. Useful enhancements also include available taillamps and LED headlamps as well as available full-length extended power steering boards that have a kick switch, which gives enhanced truck-side cargo box functionality.
The all-new 3.5-liter PowerBoost full hybrid V6 powertrain is aimed at bringing higher horsepower and torque of any light-duty full-size pickup. The PowerBoost system boasts an EPA-estimated range of around 1,127 kms on a single gas tank.
PowerBoost mates the proven EcoBoost engine of Ford and a 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission with a 47hp electric motor incorporated into the transmission. Along with this, the software is standardized, particularly for truck use, including drive modes such as tow/haul mode to aid customers in managing efficiently the towing of heavy trailers.
Inside, the vehicle is wholly reconfigured to enhance the experience of a truck owner in terms of technology, utility, comfort, and style.
The Ford F-150 also presents an all-new 12-inch center screen, typical on the XLT high series and above, that enables customers to split the screen and monitor several functions at the same time, which include truck, music, or navigation features. An eight-inch touch screen, standard on XL and XLT regular and mid-series trucks, ensure that every customer has improved rearview camera vision and touch screen functionality.
For establishing a unique and durable mobile office anytime and anywhere, the new and optional interior work surface of the F-150 is ideal for eating while the vehicle is parked, working on a 15-inch tablet, and signing papers. The available flat tailgate work surface has a pencil holder, cupholder, a mobile device holder, and incorporated rulers.

The max recline seats are foldable to almost 180 degrees, and the bottom cushion can be elevated to meet the upper back support and the back cushion spinning forward to 10 degrees for ultimate convenience.
The all-new F-150 also provides available pro trailer backup assist and trailer reverse guidance. Trailer reverse guidance utilizes the high-resolution cameras of the truck to deliver multiple views aside from helpful graphics that assist drivers where to turn the steering wheel as they back up. Pro trailer backup assist, on the other hand, enables more convenient in the backing up of the F-150.
The new Sync 4 can be connected to smartphones wirelessly without the USB cord for smooth incorporation of Android Auto or Apple CarPlay compatibility and Sync AppLink apps such as Ford+Alexa and Waze.
