Autohub Group keen on expanding Zeekr dealer network for future models

MANILA: Zeekr Philippines is eyeing to expand its dealership network in the country. 

During the opening of the brand’s flagship showroom in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), where they launched the Zeekr 7X, Autohub Group President Willy Tee Ten shared to Zigwheels Philippines that the company is looking at opening new dealership to make way for its new models. 

“Of course, we’re looking at that. Definitely. I was already discussing this with Jeff (Jeff Cao, Zeekr International East Asia Director) and of course, Mister Tian (Junjun Tian, Zeekr International Vice President), that we need to open another one...” he explained.

“...We need an even bigger one because there are a lot of future models that will come in,” Tee Ten noted.

He also shared where the location of Zeekr Philippines’ next dealership could be: “BGC is in the south, so we either go central, because honestly a lot of the luxury segment customers are in the middle of Manila… if you were to ask me right now I would go in the middle; Pasig, San Juan, you know, that area, Greenhills area.”

At the time of writing, Zeekr’s lineup in the Philippines consists of the following fully electric models:

• Zeekr 001
• Zeekr 009
• Zeekr X
• Zeekr 7X

To date, some notable models that are yet to enter the local market include the Zeekr 007 sedan and the MIX. The latter was spotted by the author at Auto China 2024.
