BYD Cars PH's Greenfield dealership now open

MANILA: BYD Cars Philippines has bolstered its presence in the National Capital Region with the opening of a dealership in Mandaluyong City.

Situated at Unit 5, 833 Sheridan Street, in Greenfield District, Highway Hills, Mandaluyong, the aforementioned facility spans 1,641.78 square meters (sqm) that features a showroom equipped with a six-car showroom, a two-car releasing area, dedicated negotiation spaces, customer lounge, as well as an open workshop layout.

Its 310-sqm service area is equipped with six work bays. Aside from that, the establishment also serves as a drop-off and pick-up point for body and paint services provided by the Central Body Shop in Alabang.

The latest addition to the BYD dealer network in the country is the brand’s second showroom under Iconic Dealership Incorporated — ACMobility’s dealer arm.

In a statement, the brand’s distributor in the country said that the BYD Greenfield dealership inauguration highlighted the marque’s commitment to expanding its presence in the Philippine electric vehicle (EV) market and offering top-tier service to EV owners across the country.

“The inauguration of BYD’s latest dealership right here in the heart of Metro Manila is a steadfast representation of ACMobility’s commitment to establishing BYD as a brand Filipinos can trust, as well as approach with confidence,” ACMobility Chief Executive Officer Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala said.

“Beyond just sales, this dealership serves as a beacon of ACMobility’s dedication to reliable, first-class customer service, ensuring that BYD owners receive the best support for their electric vehicles,” he added.

For his part, BYD Asia Pacific Auto Sales Division General Manager Liu Xueliang expressed excitement over the unveiling of the new dealership.

“Honed by BYD’s 30 years of experience as a technology leader, this dealership is designed to provide a seamless experience for all our customers, offering world-class sales and after-sales services for the growing number of BYD EV owners in the Philippines,” he added.

The dealership is situated near major business hubs, providing convenience for professionals working in the area.

“The prime location of BYD Greenfield Mandaluyong is crucial for our expansion strategy in the Philippines,” BYD Cars Philippines Managing Director Bob Palanca was quoted as saying.

“We aim to bring electrification closer to businesses and communities in this important district central to Metro Manila and nearby provinces, making it easier for customers to transition to sustainable transportation solutions.”

Customers are welcome to visit the BYD Greenfield showroom Mondays-Sundays from 8 a.m.-7 p.m., and aftersales services are available from Mondays-Saturdays from 8 a.m.-5 p.m..
