Diesel, kerosene price hikes for tomorrow barely misses P1/L mark

MANILA: Oil players in the Philippines are set to raise the prices of their products at the pump tomorrow (January 16, 2024).

Fuel companies in the Philippines will add P0.30 per liter on gasoline and P0.90 per liter on both diesel and kerosene.What time will the price adjustments take effect?
The said adjustments will take effect as early as 12:01 a.m. of January 16, 2024.Based on their respective announcements, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Petron, and Seaoil shall increase the price of diesel by P0.90 per liter — nearly breaching the P1-per-liter mark for the first time this year.
Meanwhile, the aforementioned firms will add P0.30 per liter on the retail prices of gasoline products.
Further, Caltex, Petron, and Seaoil shall also implement a P0.90-per-liter hike on the price of kerosene products.
Other local fuel companies are expected to have the same adjustment, which will start as early as 12:01 a.m.
Last week, gasoline, diesel, and kerosene prices all went up by P0.10 per liter.
