Dongfeng Motor PH to unbox NEV offerings on Oct. 16

MANILA: Dongfeng Motor Philippines revealed that it will unveil its new-energy vehicle (NEV) offerings within the month.

In a Facebook reel made by the local arm of the Chinese car brand, it said that the “big reveal” will be on October 16.

Dongfeng Motor Philippines is still quiet about what electric models will be brought to the Philippines. However, one of them might be a crossover or a sport utility vehicle as the brand uses an automobile most likely belonging to that category in its social media posts.

Further, several Dongfeng electric vehicles are now plying on Philippine roads.

To recall, the company supplied Meralco’s eSakay with Dongfeng Rich 6 EV and EM26 Cargo Van EV units.

Similarly, the operators of the Cavite-Laguna Expressway have a Dongfeng Rich 6 EV in its electric fleet.

The two aforementioned models will possibly be a part of the soon-to-be-revealed lineup.

“Say hello to a greener, more sustainable future! Introducing electric vehicles, the way forward in transportation,” Dongfeng Motor Philippines wrote in a Facebook post.

“Discover the joy of emission-free driving and make a positive impact on the environment. It’s time to electrify your journey and pave the way for a sustainable future!” it added.
