GAC PH Fields Subcompact Crossover Contender with GS3 Emzoom

MANILA: The GAC GS3 Emzoom, the brand's most recent iteration of the GS3 crossover model and the entry-level car in the GAC local lineup, was just released. As an extension of GAC's crossover line, the GS3 Emzoom offers outstanding performance, eye-catching design, and ample capacity in a single unit at a reasonable price.

Reservations for the Emzoom are currently being accepted online and at all GAC Motor Philippines dealerships around the country. Deliveries to customers will start in July, and all units are covered by a five-year warranty. The 2023 GAC GS3 Emzoom will be offered in three variants at the following special introductory price points:

• GS3 Emzoom 1.5L GS DCT for P998,000.
• GS3 Emzoom 1.5L GB DCT for P1,098,000.
• GS3 Emzoom 1.5L GL DCT for P1,198,000.

The GS3 EMZOOM is the newest challenger in the scene, set to drive the GAC brand to new heights and zoom through Philippine roads with its fierce and sporty character,” said GAC Motor, Astara Philippines Brand Head Jun Cajayon.

A 1.5-liter gasoline direct injection turbocharged engine and a seven-speed wet dual clutch transmission power the GAC GS3 Emzoom. The powerful engine generates 270 Nm of torque and 174 horsepower.

The entire appearance of the GS3 Emzoom is a result of GAC's new design language, which exudes a sporty yet futuristic industrial look characterized by angular edges, geometric materials, and a dynamic attitude. Nineteen-inch alloy wheels and a sporty body kit, both specific to the top-of-the-line 2023 GAC GS3 Emzoom GL model, complete the vehicle's appearance.

The "Flying Wing" front grille and Laser-Eye LED headlamps on the GAS GS3 Emzoom's front face give the car a streamlined, futuristic appearance. Arc shadow blades in the side profile draw attention to its light dart tail lamps.

Inside, the GS3 Emzoom combines a modern design with use and comfort. The vehicle's cutting-edge technology features, including twin screens, a multifunction steering wheel, leather seats, wireless charging, and futuristic AC vents, are all infused with a futuristic aesthetic. A sunroof with electric blinds adds more light to the cabin, making it feel airier. Additionally, its spacious cabin provides additional shoulder and legroom for a comfortable journey.

Compared to its rivals in the subcompact crossover market, the Emzoom's cabin offers more space in addition to its indisputably attractive looks and modern interior features. The vehicle's storage areas and compartments can hold up to 21 items, and when the rear seats are folded flat, the luggage compartment offers a huge amount of cargo capacity. A motorized tailgate is included for increased convenience while loading cargo.

The car features a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, a 7-inch LCD instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Phone Mirroring.

The Emzoom is equipped with many industry-required safety features, including ISOFIX child safety seat anchors, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), dual front side and curtain airbags, seatbelts with pretensioners and force limiters, hill-start hold control (HHC), hill-descent control (HDC), electronic parking brake with auto hold, electronic stability program (ESP), tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and engine immobilizer, to name a few.

The GS3 Emzoom also includes a variety of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) technologies, such as cruise control, parking sensors, a reverse camera, and other sophisticated systems like Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist, and Traffic Jam Assist.
