Gasoline pump prices to skyrocket by P1.30/L tomorrow

MANILA: Gasoline prices in the Philippines are set to jump by more than P1 per liter this week.

Gasoline prices will go up by P1.30 per liter while diesel will have a P0.95 per liter.When will the price adjustments take effect?
The said adjustments shall become effective as early as 12:01 a.m. of January 23, 2024.Based on their respective advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Flying V, Jetti Petroleum, Petron, Seaoil, and Unioil shall add P1.30 per liter on the retail price of gasoline products tomorrow. Aside from that, they will also raise the price of diesel by P0.95 per liter.
Meanwhile, Caltex, Petron, and Seaoil shall retain the pump price of kerosene.
Other local oil players are expected to have the same adjustment, which will commence as early as 12:01 a.m.
Last week, prices of diesel and kerosene in the country already went up by P0.90 per liter, while gasoline, by P0.30 per liter.
