Have a look at Jeep’s 2019 Easter Safari concepts
MANILA: Jeep has come up with six stunning concepts for the 2019 Easter Safari. The American automobile manufacturer has cited that Easter Safari will only comprise pickups and also celebrate the return of the Jeep Gladiator. On top of that, the concepts will also provide Gladiator customers with some amazing ideas regarding modifying their pickup in the future.
The first concept, called the Jeep Five-Quarter, is based on a 1968 Jeep M-715, a military edition of the standard Gladiator pickup. Powering this concept is a Hellcat mill that makes 700 PS of maximum power.
Jeep had to customise the original frame in order to fit the engine and a new heavy-duty suspension system instead of a leaf-spring unit. The Jeep Five-Quarter also gets huge off-road tires and bead-lock wheels.
Second on the list is the Jeep J6, a modern-ish pickup truck. It is basically a Wrangler Unlimited without the second row, which in turn provides a large bed. Other mods additions on this pickup include large off-road tyres, steel bumper, and a 2-inch lift. As a matter of fact, Jeep has already used the name J6 for its J series pickups.
For the wild wanderers, there is the Jeep Wayout. This concept is based on the Gladiator and features a rooftop tent good enough for two people. Just like the previous concept, the Wayout also gets a 2-inch lift and large off-road tyres. The water wading capacity has also been improved thanks to the addition of a snorkel.
Love dirt biking? Then the Jeep Flatbill is for you. The Flatbill comes with bike mounts on its bed and features bro truck characteristics. The bro truck theme is further highlighted by stickers with text like “brah” and "Don't bro me if you don't know me".
Bringing back the retro feel is the Jeep JT Scrambler. Taking its inspiration from the 1982 Jeep Scrambler, the conceptual pickup is adorned by a brown roof along with metallic orange and nacho stripping all over it. Large off-road tyres and a 2-inch lift can be seen on the Jeep JT Scrambler as well.
The sixth and final concept is the Jeep Gladiator Gravity dipped in Punk'N Metallic Orange. It is the most toned down model of the lot and features a hell lot of Mopar parts. A cold air intake, rock rails, and huge off-road tyres are the enhancements that this pickup has received. Moreover, mounted on Mopar cross rails is a cargo carrier basket at the back.
