Honda Cars PH formally opens Tacloban dealership

MANILA: Honda Cars Philippines Incorporated (HCPI) has expanded its reach in the Eastern Visayas region through the formal inauguration of its latest outlet in Leyte. 

Specifically, Honda Cars Tacloban is situated near Bethel International School, Barangay Pawing, Palo, Leyte. The facility sits on a 2,145-square-meter lot and boasts state-of-the-art facilities for general repairs, spare parts distribution, preventive maintenance, and even light compact-body and paint services. 

Notably, Honda Cars Tacloban is owned and operated by Topcars Autoworld Corporation, a Leyte-based company that already operates several dealerships in Leyte and Samar for various locally present car brands. 

“For many years, our presence in this market (Region 8) has been limited, and we have only been able to reach our customers in Tacloban through caravan activities,” HCPI President Hidekazu Arai said. 

“With the opening of Honda Cars Tacloban, we can now provide a more consistent, more accessible, and more complete customer experience that Honda owners truly deserve. This dealership strengthens our presence in the region and allows us to offer full services, from sales to after-sales support. It also helps us build long-term relationships with our customers in Tacloban,” Arai added. 

For Taclobanons who want to visit the newly opened Honda Cars Tacloban, be aware that it is open from Monday-Sunday, from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. The said outlet’s service operations, meanwhile, are available from Monday-Sunday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Other Honda Cars Ph updates

One of the biggest recent developments for HCPI was the local launch of the next-generation Prelude - a two-door, hybrid-powered sports car that now sits as the top nameplate in the brand’s Philippine market lineup.

Priced at P3.498 million, the all-new Honda Prelude is powered by a 2.0-liter Atkinson cycle engine paired with the brand’s e:HEV full hybrid system. 

Its gasoline engine alone can produce up to 139 horsepower (hp) and 182 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque. Its electric motor, meanwhile, can put out an additional 181 hp and 315 Nm of torque.
