Jetour GAIA G700 serves as official ride for Discovery's "Adventure of Extremes" Season 2

MANILA: The Jetour GAIA G700 will be the official vehicle for the second season of Discovery's “Adventure of Extremes” show.

Such a development marked the first-ever collaboration between world-renowned explorer Ed Stafford and an automotive brand. 

In a statement, the Chinese premium automotive marque noted that the alliance places the G700 on the world stage alongside premier international broadcasters, “serving as a powerful testament to the rigorous engineering, elite manufacturing standards, and global quality of Jetour vehicles built for the toughest environments on Earth.” 

Moreover, Jetour expressed firm belief that Stafford brings a pioneering spirit that seamlessly aligns with the G700's “Beyond the Horizon” product proposition.

Mobile base camp

The company added that its partnership with Discovery and Stafford proves its engineering excellence through the rigorous testing of the G700 across Ecuador's volcanic ranges, Colombia's jungles, and the Sahara Desert.

Throughout the season, the Jetour G700 acts as a mobile base camp for Stafford (widely hailed as the "Modern Robinson Crusoe," and the first person to hike the entire length of the Amazon River), enabling him to traverse extreme wildernesses. 

“During the filming of Jetour’s Adventure of Extremes, I found that the G700 delivers outstanding off-road capability and is very practical for outdoor adventures,” the Adventure of Extremes host noted.

“Whether it's brewing coffee, preparing a simple meal, or powering filming equipment, it handles everything effortlessly. The G700 is not just a vehicle for traversing treacherous terrain—it's my mobile base camp,” he added.

For his part, Jetour International President Ke Chuandeng, highlighted the synergy between the brand's vision and Stafford's extraordinary endeavors.

“Ed Stafford's relentless pursuit of challenges in extreme environments reflects the very spirit that defines the G700. The G700 infuses this spirit into every detail, integrating all-terrain off-road capability, premium comfort, and high-efficiency performance to unlock new possibilities for global explorers,” he explained.
