Kia PH sells nearly 8k units in 2025

MANILA: Kia Philippines, a subsidiary of ACMobility, has sold a total of 7,819 units for the entirety of 2025. 

The aforementioned is equivalent to a 16.7 percent year-on-year growth for Kia’s local arm. For reference, the brand has previously delivered 6,692 units in 2024. 

“2025 was a defining year for Kia Philippines, as we achieved 16.7 percent year-on-year growth and emerged as the fastest-growing mainstream established automotive brand in the country,” ACMobility Chief Executive Officer Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala said.

“This milestone reflect the strength of our product portfolio, our customer-centric approach, and our commitment to offering mobility solutions that meet the evolving needs of Filipino motorists,” Zobel de Ayala added. 

Performance drivers 

According to Kia Philippines, its two primary market drivers for 2025 were the Carnival and the Sonet. 

The brand further shared that the Carnival returned 30 percent year-on-year sales growth. It likewise ranked second in the premium midsize multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) segment. The Kia Sonet, meanwhile, had a 54 percent year-on-year increase in sales. 

No sales figures for the two models were shared by the company, but they are said to be good representations of Kia's mindfulness in balancing performance, comfort, and safety.

As of this writing, the Carnival has a price ranging from P2.888 million-P3.498 million, across four trims. The Sonet, on the other hand, has a price ranging from P778,000-P1.178 million.

Kia 2025 launches

Kia Philippines likewise attributed its strong local performance to its several new vehicle launches last year. 

These include the following: 

• Kia Sonet K-Style
• Kia Sorento 7-seater hybrid trims
• Kia Carnival Turbo
• Kia EV9

Kia Philippines’ launches for 2025 have also expanded its powertrain portfolio for the local market. It now has fully electric, internal combustion, and hybrid nameplates.
