LOOK: LTO in Mandaue City offers drive-thru services

MANILA: If you’ve been minimizing your exposure outside since quarantine protocols have been put up but need to renew your vehicle’s registration, LTO (Land Transportation Office) has the answer, but only if you live in Central Visayas.

The LTO in Region 7 has opened up the very first drive-though vehicle registration and renewal in the area and has already served more than 2,000 motorists in its first month of operations.

This initiative is part of the agency’s effort to adapt to the ‘new normal’ and puts public health and safety protocols above all else, none more evident than at the Motor Vehicle Inspection Center (MVIC) Complex in Subangdaku, Mandaue City. 

Since starting the drive-thru registration and renewal service on July 6, 2020, over 1,113 motor vehicle owners and 1,299 motorcycle owners have been able to renew their registration.
