“Since its launch in the Philippines, more than 800 CX-60 SUVs have been sold. This makes the Philippines the largest market for the CX-60 in Asia outside of Japan, a testament to it being well-received by Filipino buyers,” Mazda Philippines President and Chief Executive Officer Steven Tan was quoted as saying.

Improving ride experience without sacrificing driving experience, the new Mazda CX-60 has been slapped with softer rear springs, new bump stops, and dampers, as well as firmer front suspensions, relocated front knuckle mounts.
Complementing these are recalibrated steering and stability systems to bolster improve overall balance.
Further, Mazda shared that the front-engine rear-wheel drive mechanical layout distributes the lateral and longitudinal workload between the two axles. With the powertrain at the center, power is transmitted more sufficiently. The unique packaging lessened the vehicle's turning radius to 5.4 meters, smaller than other similarly-sized sport utility vehicles.
Additionally, the new Mazda CX-60 features an improved gearbox that delivers smoother and a more responsive combustion-engine-to-electric motor transitions and a wider gear range.
