MIAS 2024: 162k foot traffic recorded for 2 venues

MANILA: A total of 162,000 individuals visited the two venues for the recently-concluded Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2024.  

Alvin Uy, one of the organizers for the event, said that the number is considered biggest figure tallied yet for the said motoring event.

“MIAS 2024 broke a new record by welcoming over 162,000 visitors to World Trade Center and SMX Convention Center,” Uy said.

He also noted that it was also the first time that 30 automotive brands participated at show. Among the marques are, BAIC (Beijing Automotive Industry Holding Company), BAW (Beijing Automotive Works), Bestune, Changan, Chery, Chevrolet, DAF, Dongfeng, Foton, GAC (Guangzhou Automobile Group Company Limited), GWM (Great Wall Motors), Hongqi, Hyundai, Hycan, JAC (Jianghuai Automobile Company Limited), Jetour, JMC (Jiangling Motors Corporation), Lynk and Co, Kinglong, MG (Morris Garages), Mitsubishi, Nissan, Omoda and Jaecoo, Peugeot, Seres, Subaru, Suzuki, and Weichai.
