MANILA: Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC), represented by Raymond Rivera of Carworld Incorporated, has secured the championship title for Service Advisor at the Global Service Skills Contest (GSSC) 2025.

Raymond Rivera faced off against 15 other service advisors from all around the world.The event, held at the Tokyo Ryutsu Center in Japan, featured 15 service advisors from 15 countries. Rivera, however, showed consistency, which his coach, MMPC Non-Technical Training Senior Supervisor Allan Veraque Jr., said was instrumental in attaining the championship title.
Furthermore, Rivera’s global championship win highlights MMPC’s mission to foster world-class Filipino service professionals and provide the utmost in customer service. It is a reflection of the company’s commitment to strengthening its aftersales capabilities and its customer-oriented stance when doing business.

For the unaware, the GSSC is an annual competition that assesses the skills of Mitsubishi’s global workforce.
In the GSSC’s Service Advisor category, contestants had to go through a two-part competition, with the first being a written exam, while the second was a roleplay exercise.

On the other hand, the role-play exercise simulates the full-service advisor process. It includes a proper vehicle workaround, explaining a PMS process to a customer, providing safety reminders and vehicle care tips, follow-up customer guidance, and PMS scheduling.
Other MMPC updates
Apart from its recent win at the 2025 GSSC, MMPC has also brought back the Versa Van to the local market. Based on the Nissan Urvan, it retails at P1.649 million and boasts a 15-seater configuration with foldable seats, ceiling-mounted air-conditioning outlets, and a 2.5-liter diesel engine.
