Mitsubishi Pajero 2016 Now Available With A New Engine
MANILA: Mitsubishi Philippines has some good news to share! After releasing its newest crossover MPV Mitsubishi XM MPV at the ongoing Indonesian event GIIAS 2016, the company has given a new engine to one of its highly selling SUVs. The flagship SUV from the Mitsubishi fleet – the Mitsubishi Pajero, will now be available with a now power-unit only to deliver more thrilling and power-packed adventurous drives. Revealed by Mitsubishi Philippines officials and confirmed by auto experts, the new engine is tuned for more power and better refinement. With Euro 4 emission compliance, this engine is surely going to make Pajero a more successful drive in the Philippines with less carbon emission and better performance.
The new Pajero is available at the Mitsubishi dealerships with the absolutely new and upgraded 4M41 engine with an absolutely advanced variable geometry turbo system. This 3.2-litre engine has the capability to knock out a maximum power counting to 192 stallions at 3800 rpm along with 441 Nm of maximum torque at 2000 rpm. While this engine is in compliance with Euro 4 emission rules, it has an improved cooling and stronger internal components to churn out more efficiency than other similar engines.
There have been hardly any tweaks at the exterior and the major changes are only given to the under the hood configurations. The new Pajero will boast the same LED daytime running lights, sliding sunroof and HID headlights with auto dimming as the main attractions at the exterior while the cabin gets the privilege of having features like full leather wrapped seats in black or claysoil and 10-way power adjustable driver's seat.
Since this 7-seater SUV is meant to be driven on varied terrains, it has been blessed with an advanced feature – Super Select 4WD-II system as a standard feature. Also, there are complementing features like Mitsubishi Active Stability Control, Traction Control System and M-ASTC which distribute the power equally to all the wheels, controls the vehicle on varied terrains and applies braking force to the free-spinning wheels. All these aspects ensure that the drives on slippery or rough terrains are as safe as the highway drives.
Mitsubishi Philippines has revealed the prices for the new Pajero 2016 where the diesel trim would be available for PhP 2,750,000 and the gasoline trim can be owned at PhP 2,550,000.
