Notably, Omoda and Jaecoo’s intelligent “Robodog” made appearances at the said dealership’s inauguration ceremonies. Per the Chinese marque’s local arm, this demonstrates the company’s “vision of a smarter, more connected mobility ecosystem beyond conventional automobiles.”

Jaecoo J5 EV: preparing for launch
As Omoda and Jaecoo Philippines shared, the grand opening of their outlets in Kawit and Dasmariñas is part of their preparations for the official launch of the J5 EV this July. The aforementioned follows its preview at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS).
For those curious, the Jaecoo J5 EV will retail at P1.4 million. It also comes packaged with the brand’s seven-year or 200,000-kilometer bumper-to-bumper warranty, and an eight-year or 160,000-km warranty specifically for its powertrain and battery.
Propelling the Jaecoo J5 EV is a single electric motor setup paired with a 58.9-kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery. At maximum, it can produce up to 207 horsepower and 288 Newton-meters of torque. It also has a range of 461 km.
For now, the company has not disclosed the exact launch date of the Jaecoo J5 EV, but reservations are open until July 22, 2026. The aforementioned was announced on Omoda and Jaecoo's official social media pages and requires a P10,000 deposit. Those who made reservations will also enjoy the following perks:
